Conceptual, multimedia artist from Indianapolis, Indiana, USA; Jinx earned a BFA in Fine Arts from Herron School of Art and Design in 2011 where she focused on 2d art mainly printmaking and drawing. She went on to study Art Therapy at The Academy of Fine Art in Rome, italy from 2013-2015. since 2019 she has been working for herself as an artist full time. jinx Kele is represented by french educated art curator zhang lan yue xin as of 2023.
Jinx lives on a tropical island in South-East Asia with her husband, daughter and 3 cats: Gaia, Nezha & Zero. Her name is a combination of her childhood nickname and the Chinese name she was given upon arrival to the country, which translates to 'can AMUSE'. It is pronounced [kə- lə]. Jinx is a synesthete and environmentalist as well as an animal rights and organic food activist. She has been a vegetarian for 29 years.

She accredits the following artists as influencers: David Bowie, Santigold, Dead Prez, Les Savy Fav, Mitski, Kanye West, Tracey Emin, Tobias Rehberger, Caravaggio, Jill Marie Mason, Odilon Redon, Capogrossi, Jenny Holzer, Bernini, Frida Kahlo, and Debbie Bolotin-Cooper. The Dao De Jing, her love for animals and children, and riding bike are cited as inspirations.
